Bijay was born and raised in Middle class family from small village in Bardiya Nepal. His father Krishna was a farmer and run small business while his mother is a home maker. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Information Management from Tribhuvan University. As an internationally educated teacher from Nepal he immigrated to Canada along with his wife in 2010. Bijay lives in Mississauga Malton with his wife and is blessed with two kids Prenam and Bidushi. His dad and mom joined them after few years. Most recently he adopted a dog named Bruno Parker. He is a business owner and has been creating employment in the riding of Mississauga Malton for many years. Bijay has been actively serving the community as a Founder President of Federation of Canada Nepal Chamber of Commerce since 2021 promoting local businesses, entrepreneurs and youths.
During Pierre Poilievre’s leadership campaign, he played an important role as a national campaign coordinator for Nepalese community all over Canada. He has been supporting the party as a member of the leader circle and has been actively involved during major election campaign. Recently, he is serving as the Executive Assistant (Nepal Affairs) for MP Kyle Seeback. He ran for MP nomination in Mississauga Malton in 2021. He has been a strong voice for the community at all level of government. He received Remarkable citizen award by the provincial government during Covid-19 for serving the community.
